Joseph Lentunyoi is the director and founder of LPC. Joseph has extensive experience as the Director the Sustainability Programme at Nyumbani village and brought permaculture techniques to Nyumbani having been taught by Geoff Lawton in Tanzania in 2007. Joseph has since completed an internship and teacher training with Geoff as well as a teacher training and advanced consultancy course with Warren Brush and has taught permaculture widely around East Africa and the US. He is the founder of the Laikipia Permaculture Project.
Rosemary is a powerhouse of a woman, coordinator of Twala Women’s Group, which is an umbrella group of 6 women’s groups from 2 different group ranches. She has been involved with the group since 2007 when it started. The group has its own site where it runs various income generating activities, coordinated by Rosemary. She is a trained permaculture practitioner.
Staff Members
Francis has 7 years of experience as an Accountant, having worked previously in the hospitality industry with the Il Ngwesi Eco-lodge and Laikipia North Stakeholders Forum, a community based development organization. He now manages all of LPCT accounts and budgets and is in charge of financial reporting. He took his PDC in April 2015 at LPC.
Pricscilla took her PDC Course in June 2013 and has been practicing permaculture in various farms since then. She has been helping to teach the women permaculture techniques and helps to run the Twala Aloe farm. She holds a college diploma in Management.
Ann has over 5 years of experience in Administration, having worked previously in the hospitality industry with the Il Ngwesi Eco-lodge, a world class tourism resort in Laikipia County as a human resource manager. She is now in charge of LPCT personnel issues as well as other administrative tasks. She took her PDC in May 2017 at LPC and holds a Diploma in Human Resource Management from the Technical University of Kenya.
